Cosmetic Surgery and Self Love

What is the Price of vanity? Would someone who love themselves want to alter themselves? Are the risks of surgically altering yourself ever considered, or are they just focused on “looking better?”

I think this society has it backwards. It’s sad actually…watching everyone worry about how they look, rather than how they feel. The really sad part is that unless they are standing in front of a mirror all day, they aren’t even going to see themselves anyway!!! So what’s the point? Who are we trying to look goof for then? And why is our happiness dependent upon what someone else thinks about our looks?

After a very long history of self hate, I can finally say I found a way out. I now love myself so much that altering myself in anyway would never even be a consideration. In fact, if I was given an opportunity to magically erase my scars, I still would not. I love them too!

I love my body for loving me while I hated it, for supporting all the work and sports and other strenuous activities I’ve loved. I love it for working on me even when I didn’t fuel it properly. Self love actually has nothing to do with what I look like.

Do you feel you could alter yourself if you really self love? Would you want to change someone else that you love?

Just some of the questions I ponder in the video. Please let me know your thoughts in this issue!

So what do you think? Are you really loving yourself the best you can? I wish a life of self love for all! Thank you for joining me! 🙂

Blessings and Love,
